I've been making special birthday cards for my kids since their first birthdays. My daughter Ashleigh turned 16 recently. She's horse mad, so naturally this year's theme had to be horses again! The horses at Larkrigg near Kendal get spoiled rotten when Ashleigh is around, so you'll understand what's going on in this year's card.

When I'm not playing solo piano at weddings and parties I love to play jazz with my mates. We call ourselves Jazz Offline and here we are playing at a charity event house party in Darwen, Lancs. This house belongs to a friend of ours and it was a sheer joy to playing her beautiful grand piano.

A caricature ordered for valentines day.
